WHAT IS BREATHWORK?

A simple three-step, heart-based, conscious connected breathing that takes you on a journey back to yourself.

By consciously changing the breathing patterns you alter your state of being to access the emotional body, directly. During a breathwork session, you can release mental, emotional and energetic blockages, expand your consciousness, enter deeper states of meditation, surrender to your intuition and let go of past hurt, grief and heavy emotions.

When we move from our heads and into our hearts, we get to feel deeper parts of ourselves, uncovering what lies in our unconscious mind.

By letting go of stuck emotions, energetic blockages and old patterns, we make room for new energy to enter, welcome abundance and be more present. There are many physical, spiritual and emotional benefits you may experience through breathwork.

Here are some of them:

  • Release stored heavy emotions like anger, anxiety, depression

  • Become aware of and then releasing addictive patterns and behaviors

  • Gain clarity of thought

  • Be more present and in love with this moment

  • Let go of past hurts

  • Detox the body

  • Boost immunity

  • Lower the stress hormone Cortisol

  • Surrender to what is and allow more abundance, flow, and ease

  • Opening and balancing of the chakras

Join Michael Peters (men’s coach) and Giap Tongsayor (Intimacy Coach) in this winter’s event --> The Dance between the Elements. This is an introduction to cognitive existentialism with Masculine and Feminine energy, not just with romantic relationships but in our daily lives. They will bring this concept to you in a unique way that is coupled with pas de deux.

What’s involved

During the ceremony you be guided through choreography that will allow you to and self-connect on a deeper, more polarising level. Giap & Michael believe that there is an importance to this work in understanding the contrast between the dominance and submission roles we play in our everyday lives.

When these are not in conscious alignment it can show up in the following ways:

Ø  Difficulty with intimacy

Ø  Lack of authenticity

Ø  Communication problems

When we give ourselves permission to embody these energies, we become better leaders and allow ourselves to receive with ease and grace through trust.

This event is aimed towards couples and/or friends who are happy to share this intimate space together.

What’s Involved:

  • Opening Cacao ceremony

  • Meditation

  • Soul Circle

  • Breathwork

  • Theory on the masculine and feminine

  • Dance (Choreography – R&B and Latin Fusion) | Note: this is partner work, and you are required to dance closely.

  • Crystal Sound Bath

  • Aftercare

  • Social

What you will leave with:

  • Understanding Power Play

  • In depth understanding of the importance of creating space for the masculine / Feminine energies.

  • Expressing authenticity through movement

Host

Michael grew up in the south west of England where he began his training in ‘The Arts’. A practice and career in Dancing, Acting and Singing spanning over 20 years. His credits include such performances for Little Mix, Original West End cast of Hairspray and ‘The Book Of Mormon’ to name a few. Over the recent years Michael has deepened his practice with spirituality through Tantra which has been supported by Metaphysical science inspiring him to create his own Men’s self development course. During his own personal development studies he recognised the lack of support and community for men which inspired him to create a space for them grow into their ‘mature masculine’. Michael is truly excited to be on this journey along side Giap to hold space in this co-creation of this event ‘The Dance Between The Elements’.

WISDOM FROM THE DARK. AN AUTUMN REIKI & SOUND IMMERSION AT THE MAT SANCTUARY

Come together to celebrate Autumn in the intimacy of The Mat Sanctuary

About this event:

As we transition through autumn, we invite you to join us as the daylight time changes in preparation for longer nights. Join Giap Tongsayor for the evening to embrace the idea of darkness through the nourishing orchestration of therapeutic sounds. This 2-hour session will be a deep sensorial immersion starting with an open ceremony with Cacao where we invite you to reflect what darkness means to you and the wisdom that can be acquired from it?

unsplash-image-pvoQJym18Jg.jpg

As we re-examine the idea of darkness, we’ll explore our sacred relationship with it. Accepting it also means making peace with our shadows, the bits of ourselves that we deny or lock away. In Shamanism, the true nature of darkness has always been practiced. By shutting off our outer visual sense, it allows us to perceive the reality that lies beneath the surface.

Giap will then guide you through meditation to prepare the body and mind for healing, followed by a sound bath immersion using different tools, such as crystal bowls and other percussion instruments. Allow yourself to welcome the wisdom of darkness as the contrast makes your inner light shine the brightest.

Surrender to self with Rope Exploration & Crystal Sound Bath (WOMXN ONLY)

This is a guided exploration of self with the physical and emotional hosted by Sophia Rose and Giap Tongsayor in an intimate private residential venue.

About this event

We invite you on a journey of surrendering to self, with guided self-tie lead by Sophia Rose and Crystal Sound bath by Giap Tongsayor.

Shibari is the Japanese practice of rope bondage literally meaning 'to tie'. It's origins draw on Hojujitsu and was used by Samuri as their technique to capture, restrain, and transport prisoners in a functional and aesthetic way. Though these techniques stopped being used, the imagery and aesthetic made its way into the underground BDSM and artistic culture of Japan. Shibari and images of people tied can be found in pornography, photos and paintings to this day.

Nowadays, enthusiasts of rope bondage and shibari draw on more traditional methods of tying as well as merging techniques with more western style bondage and imagery. Self-tying and tying for the purpose of conscious meditation is something which people are exploring more and more, rope bondage may always be intimate and personal, but it does not always have to be sexual.

Hosts

Giap Tongsayor is an intuitive energy healer and well-being coach. She works closely with sound through her team of crystal bowls, instruments and light language channelled through her voice. After her breakthrough whilst working in the financial sector due to high stress workload, she put herself on the path towards inner peace by studying various human behaviour and returning to her childhood teachings of spirituality with Buddhism and mindfulness.

Sophia is a facilitator and educator living in London, who has been involved in rope and BDSM since 2013. Sophia teaching is grounded in trauma aware practice, conscious communication, and curious exploration. Her interest and passion lie in what is benefit the surface… in many senses. Sophia enjoys thinking about how our bodies, minds, and ways of being become shaped consciously and unconsciously, and using physical tools and practices to explore these thoughts and ideas. Sophia believed there is something deeply powerful and healing about self-acknowledgement, self-accompaniment, and self-compassion, which she brings to her own practice.

— Giap Tongsayor

Preventing suicide is often possible and you are a key player in its prevention. Through action, you can make a difference to someone in their darkest moments - as a member of society, as a child, as a parent, as a friend, as a colleague or as a neighbour. Wellness Brunch

The Wellness Brunch is more than just a meal, it's a mini retreat for your mind.

About this event

Who is it for?

The Wellness Brunch is for anyone who would like to treat themselves to an alternative brunch experience. Our diners understand the importance of maintaining mental, physical and spiritual well-being, they recognise the need for 'time outs', and actively seek moments for rest & relaxation. Diners at The Wellness Brunch come to share a meal, to connect with others, but most importantly to reconnect with Self.

What to expect:

At The Wellness Brunch the main order of the day is mindfulness. Each step along our brunch journey is designed to keep diners in a state of present moment awareness. The more we are conscious in the present moment, the less we experience stress, anxiety and tension. When we reduce stress, anxiety and tension, we create a space for relaxation, calm and flow.

Along The Journey you will be guided into meditation, lead through a gentle yoga practice, soothed by the healing sounds of crystal sound bowls and be served a hearty, 3 course, plant-based meal.

For diners at The Wellness Brunch, it is more than a meal, it's a mini retreat for your mind.

What do I need?

The only thing we ask our diners to bring is... themselves and a willingness to be open to The Journey!

All equipment will be provided on the day, just be sure to wear attire that allows you to be comfortable and to move freely.*

*You may want to bring your own pen+note pad for The Soul Circle.
